Carmine Battafarano has more than 25 years' experience in technically complex operations and business management positions. Professional Experience Mr. Battafarano joined Henkels & McCoy, Inc., a subsidiary of HMI Services’ parent company, Henkels & McCoy Group, as Vice President of Corporate Development in 2013 where he led strategic planning for the company. He later served as President of HMI Communications and HMI Technical Solutions. Prior to joining Henkels & McCoy, Mr. Battafarano served as the Chief Marketing Officer for a global utilities engineering firm, and as Senior Vice President of their International Operations & Maintenance business unit. He previously practiced environmental/energy law and served as a power plant manager and an asset manager for a national energy company. Education Mr. Battafarano holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, and attended the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Executive Program on Mergers & Acquisitions. He is a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey, a Certified Energy Manager, a licensed State of New Jersey Stationary Chief Engineer, and a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Chief Engineer. Edward W. Campbell President, HMI Utilities, Inc. Edward (Ed) W. Campbell has over 35 years of operational leadership experience. Professional Experience Mr. Campbell joined Henkels & McCoy, a subsidiary of HMI's parent company, Henkels & McCoy Group, in 1981. Advancing through positions of increasing responsibility, he was promoted to Vice President and Division Manager of the Southwest Division in 1999, and served a term on Henkels & McCoy's Board of Directors. In 2005, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the West Region. In 2016, he transitioned to Vice President of Operations for HMI Communications, LLC and HMI Utilities, LLC. Industry & Civic Involvement Mr. Campbell is an active member and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Power & Communication Contractors Association (PCCA), and is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Southern Gas Association (SGA), and the Western Energy Institute (WEI). JOSEPH A. MARTINO Vice President, Client Solutions, HMI Technical Solutions, LLC Mr. Martino has more than 30 years of successful, diverse product and service sales experience. Professional Experience Joseph A. Martino is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and management of business development efforts to support the organization’s overall growth goals. Prior to joining HMITS in 2017, Mr. Martino held business development and client service management positions, bringing integrated consulting, engineering, operations, and construction management solutions into power, utility, higher education, industrial, and district energy segments. Industry & Civic Involvement Mr. Martino holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation/Nautical Science from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in New York. Thomas Readinger Vice President, Engineering & Technical Services, HMI Technical Solutions, LLC Mr. Readinger has held various positions of increasing responsibility since joining Henkels & McCoy Group Companies in 1995. Professional Experience Thomas (Tom) C. Readinger is Vice President of Engineering & Technical Services for HMITS, and in that capacity assists with the development of strategies to compete in new and existing markets. He is responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, acquiring new customers, and ensuring company, client, project, and safety standards are successfully met. Mr. Readinger has held numerous positions within the company, including director, project manager, and department manager. His past experience includes serving as an engineering manager, quality control technician, and project engineer at several national companies. Education Mr. Readinger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University in Pennsylvania. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering in 10 states and the District of Columbia.
